I am really confusing, some fatwah says Halaal, some Not
Sometimes I drink Coke, Sprite and Fanta
Sometimes I said to my self: Dont drink, it is not HALAAL
What is the Truth?

Salaam,
I'm not saying it halal or haram because it may vary from country to country. I don't know. I would call them to find out. As far as I am aware of, it does not contain alcohol in the U.S., but will validate that inshallah.
Coke makes your teeth and gums real black and is not good for your health like the brother said.

according to the majlisul ulama south africa (and possibly others) all fizzy drinks contain alcohol as alcohol is used in the manufacturing process. but i think the majority of the ulama say that the synthetic alcohol which is used and the small quantity used does not render it haram. i believe there was a detailed discussion on this on the forum.
as for it being bad for your health, then yes we should stay away from it.
another reason to stay away from it is due to their financial support of the illegal zionist state of israel.

Stay away from it.
By giving them your money you will indirectly support the oppression in Palestine (al-Filistin), because this company gives financial support to the oppressors there.

Start with a 1 or 2, and stick to it. Then gradually increase them. I would think it's next to impossible to boycott all of them all at the same time.

Cocacola:
1. It is certified by SANHA
2. It is not good for Health
3. It supports Izrael
4. My favorite Drink
So is that mean that I must purchase Pepsi instead of Cocacola

Or you can purchase Coo-ee, if it's in your part of SA. A variety of flavours (family fav is raspberry), cheap, and tastes good! Also, their 300ml bottles are great!

majlisul ulama from south africa have condemned sanha and its cerification. they write extensively against sanha in their monthly publication especially about sanha's certification of 'rainbow chickens'.
search for sanha on their web site.. http://themajlis.net/index.php

Personally, I do the same as what I used to in Canada, ie read the ingredients. And :alhamd: my chicken supplier is 100% halal.
I am wondering, why only boycott those things that support Israel? Should we not also boycott those things that support America, England, and India at least? Our Iraqi, Afghani and Kashmiri Muslim brothers and sisters should be no less important to us than our Palestinian Muslim brothers and sisters.

ideally we should have a muslim economic union which trades amongst itself to keep the muslim economy strong and only trade with the kuffar if it is beneficial to the muslim economic union.
i believe general ziaul haq proposed such a thing before he was assasinated.

Most of the good stuff we get here are all imported from the US or Uk .
I try to buy only Caribbean made items or items that's made locally here where I live. It's not that difficult to boycott we just need to restrain our nafs and buy cheaper no named stuff. It may not taste as great but at least our money isn't going directly to those companies and our grocery bill maybe less.

COCA COLA
Coca Cola is a staunch supporter of Israel and even
as early as 1966, the government of Israel
acknowledged Coke’s support for Israel. (A
statement appeared on the Israel Ministry of
Foreign Affairs web-site)
Coke has sponsored and hosted numerous
commerce events between the US and Israel. In
October 2005, Coca-Cola increased its investment
in Israel by buying a 51% controlling interest in the
Israeli Tavor Winery company which is based at the
foot of Mount Tavor.
Coca-cola sponsors training programs for its workers on the Israeli-Arab conflict and a company funded by the Jewish agency and the Israeli government creates the course content. Recently, it was announced that Coca-cola, in return for $millions in incentives from the Israeli government, is to build a new plant on stolen Palestinian land at Kiryat Gat
It makes every bit of difference to boycott products like this.
Remember it cost 45p a can it only cost 75p a bullet.
As if WE arnt already responsible for the blood of our palastinian brothers by sitting silently in our home cosey.
I dont mean to lecture anyone as I know i am firstly to blame but inshallah a little effort with the right intention will inshallah be of great benefit to the whole ummah.
There are many other unbranded products now days which are easy to purchase in place of these.
It might not taste as good but it will be well worth it inshallah.
have a look at the friends of alqsa site where u can find a list of items to boycott.
May ALLAH give us all sincerety and help our oppressed brothers and sisters and forgive us for sitting so silently.
AMEEN

Assalamualaikum,
On the authority of Abu 'Abdullah al-Nu'man bin Bashir, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say:
"Truly, what is lawful is evident, and what is unlawful is evident, and in between the two are matters which are doubtful which many people do not know. He who guards against doubtful things keeps his religion and honour blameless, and he who indulges in doubtful things indulges in fact in unlawful things, just as a shepherd who pastures his flock round a preserve will soon pasture them in it. Beware, every king has a preserve, and the things Allah has declared unlawful are His preserves. Beware, in the body there is a flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt, and behold, it is the heart."
[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]
Wassalam
