If you do Hajj on someone's behalf do you get rewarded for doing it (i.e. the Hajj)?

I was just wondering

As Salaamu Alaykum,

It is the Shar'ee ruling and method, that a person who commits a good act receives the reward of that act. This is quite understandable. It has come in Ahadeeth that a person who points out towards a good act for him will be the same reward as the person who carried out the good act. And the reward of the person who carried out the act will not be decreased (in order to accommodate the reward of the person who encouraged the good act).

Therefore, taking this into consideration, and many other Ahadeeth, it can be deduced that the person doing Hajj-e-Badal on another person's behalf will receive the reward of the Hajj.

However, the obligation of Hajj remaining upon him is a totally different question.

So the first Hajj you have to do on your behalf, then the second Hajj you can do on someone else's behalf and still get rewarded for Hajj?
