Islamic charities in the West

I wanted to make a regular donation to a charity, but cant make up my mind. So can you guys help me pls.
Which Islamic charities exist in the West? How good are they? How Islamic are they? And what type of work do they do?

These days hard to find truth and real charity organization who they are really working for humanity with pure hearts.

i know some of the people from ummah welfare trust and i know what kind of background the people from ummah welfare trust have come from, also the company they keep from the local community. for this reason i have always trusted uwt over the other charities and always donate to them. personally i would go with uwt.

but saying that, sadly in this day and age it is hard to differentiate between who is good and who is not. sometimes you can get very dissapointed.

No doubt. Someone like me appreciates the robust online payment solution they have. it makes it so simple for me to login and just give, also they claim back from the taxes I pay and 100% donation policy.

Interestingly I may consider creating them an donation app for the iphone and other smart phones.

That is not charity who get the receipts for Taxation and also who buy some thing at Masjid door for charity purpose both are not charities because one hand give other hand get back nothing to left for akhira.
