Study Text: The Shamail of Imam Tirmidhi
The Shamail of Imam Abu ‘Isa Tirmidhi is a collection 397 ahaadith on the noble description and character of our beloved Nabi Sallalahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam.
The aim of the course, insha Allah, is to enable a Muslim to achieve a link and connection with the one whom Allah Ta’aala has made a mercy unto mankind.
We will learn how the Prophet (saw) used to dress, eat and interact with people of all ages and class. About his manners and disposition, his daily routine, his worship and much much more…
Teachers:
Shaykh Faisal Abdur- Razak (Canada)
Shaykh Faisal Abdur- Razak is the Imam and President of the Islamic Forum of Canada. He has travelled extensively throughout the world to seek sacred knowledge in addition to sharing and spreading the deen of Allah. He has spoken on a wide range of Islamic topics in many countries, including Canada, USA, England, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. He has also written numerous books such as ‘Gems of Prophetic Wisdom’ and ‘Ramadaan Companion: Spiritual Reflections.’
Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi (Syria)
Shaykh Muhammad descends from a scholarly family whose lineage goes back to the Prophet, salla Allahu 'alayhi sallam, through his grandson Sayyiduna al-Hasan, radiya Allahu 'anhu. His lineage goes back to Mawlay Idris al-Anwar who built the city of Fes. Mawlay Idris' lineage is as follows: he is the son of Mawlay Idris the Great; who is the son of Sayyiduna Abdullah al-Kamil; who is the son of Sayyiduna al-Hasan, the Second; who is the son of Sayyiduna al-Hasan, radiya Allah 'anhu; who is the grandson of the Prophet, salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
