As-Salamualaikum
I did tashkeel of my friends from my company and went for 3 days in a Jamaat. We were stationed in a masjid with Jamaat-E-Islaami influence. On Saturday, after Maghrib Salah, there was a Tafseer session conducted by a person of Jamaat-E-Islaami (Obviously not a qualified Aalim), our Ameer cleverly took all the saathis out for mulaakhaat. As we were in mulaakhaat, one of my friends who is slightly inclined towares JI, confronted me that it is not appropriate to evade the tafseer session and go for ‘Mulaakhats’…. I felt really awkward in this situation, I was short of words to convince him….
What could have been done in this situation…and what should have been my reply to my friend who is a first timer in TJ effort..
