Hindu sends me stoning to death video, need help

Assalaam alaikum

An ex-collegue, a convert from atheism to hindu believes, has sent me a video in which a girl gets stoned to death I think afghanistan, but Im not sure.
This video is going around amongst non-muslims at the moment.
The story of the video is that a young girl was supposed to get married to an old man but fell in love with a young man.

I suppose, but it´s not said that she had intercourse with this man..

I took a look at the video (wish I had not, because I can´t erase the picture anymore and it makes me cry)
The girl gets stoned and kicked around (she´s not digged into the ground)
From the kicking her pants go down but they just go on.
Everybdy´s filming. Then her brother throwns a huge stone on her head twice to end it.

Ofcouse this is not the way stoning should be done, but what frustrates me is that the girl was not married (yet) and so this punishment was also not correct.

Now this girl she sends this video to me asking me for my opinion and asking me if she shoulf proceed in forwarding the videomail.
She says that she doesn´t know what to do with it.

Now I don´t know what to say or to do. This video is really heavy and got me in my heart.
I don´t like non.muslims to see this, 1. because it´s not correct in this matter, 2. because it´ll scare them away from islaam.

On the other hand, I don´t want to say to her that i don´t agree with stoning, because that would be wrong.

Please, any suggestions are welcome.

Hinduism is DEFINATELY one of the most disgusting and sub-human religions that still exists in the world. I mean, Christians used to be gross too, believing that keeping yourself filthy and not washing was a virtue while cleaning yourself was considered a vice. There are still monks among the Orthodox Christians who dont bathe and are considered pious for this. But atleast Christians have become ashamed of these things and remade their religion. But Hinduism is just plain disgusting! Really, when you think of its theology, it is nothing more than a joke. Allah guide these people, because you would have to be VERY depraved or/and misguided to enter such a religion by choice. May Allah protect us from being led astray into such a disgusting existance.

Hindus have no right to criticize Muslims at all. When you actually look at how their religion treats women, they have no leg to stand on when criticizing Muslims or anyone else.

Me too I don´t understand how someone can convert to hinduism, but many people are looking for ´something´in the west. Any kind of spirituality (as long as it doesn´t make them give up alcohol and illigal sex) and convert to all kinds od religions.

Living as an atheist the soul yerns for Allah, but they end up going in the wrong direction (Allah guides whom he wills).

I think many people don´t really know what a lot of those religions are about and they haven´t seen video´s like this, I hope at least.

She asked me in her email what top do with the movie, and what to think of it. So i told her that the video that she saw actually was not correct and this were not muslims and I told her that sometimes video´s are not what they seem like this one about hinduism ( I placed a copy of the meat eating video)
Then I told her that she probably doesn´t like it if I would forward this video to everyone.

But you are right, if she responds, I will take the upportunity to send her something nice..because that´s what it´s all about.

But since the punishment of stoning in this case was 1. Not given by any court 2. Not correct, since the girl was not married. 3. executed in a wrong manner..

I went to school with a Jew who later converted to Hinduism. He apparently did so through, or because of, or in order to marry his Indian Hindu wife.
I also have a cousin who currently lives in northern California who recently began practices the kufr Sufism consistent with the those who left Islam and practiced their own way found amongst hippie culture.
In fact there is a family of Hollywood actors and actresses, Arquettes, who's father converted to Islam in the 1960s and raised all of their kids in some hippie version which resulted in kufr sufi hippie lifestyle. The hippie counterculture in the West included adoptions of non Judeo Christian beliefs which embraced the austere, self denial, self purification in any religion they could find. But they often failed to maintain the path to Allah, so they took from various religions to suit their own individual hybridization.

May Allah help us to carry His Message to the world to His satisfaction and may I be a part of that.

Also, I don't mean to lecture you or anything (although I feel like I am :rolleyes: ) but that's one of the reasons the Prophet SAW said backbiting is worse than zina. Once you have said something negative about someone iin their absence you have to ask forgiveness FROM them as well as forgiveness from Allah. See, now it's going to be very hard to ask forgiveness from Dr. Zakir in person now for that statement.

Please make lots of dua for him to try and make up for it.

If you had attacked his aqaaid without a foundation that would be slander, back biting is saying something that if you said it to his face he would not like. For example, some incidents occured with Sahabah where they criticized certain aspects of other Sahabah and when the Prophet salallahu alaihi wa salim heard this he called it back biting. I think some of the things were simple things like, "so and so sleeps too much." Back biting is very serious and rampant on forums and among Muslims in general.

As far as I understand, if you can just email him and say, "Dr Naik, please forgive me for anything I have done against you" or something like this without mentioning what you did, it would be better. And also, I am quite sure that a person who does back bite should or must ask the the person for forgiviness, as I understand that it falls into the catagory of Huqooq ul-Ibaad, which is even more serious than Huqooq ullah in certain cases. But ask a scholar.

Anyway, I didn't mean to make it into a deal. If we say such words about a person that, if they heard them, they would not be pleased about it then it would be considered backbiting. Therefore, although your comment was a very small one, and as you say, a joke- it is still backbiting. Unless of course, you think Dr. Naik would take no offence at all if people made fun of his lisp. Anyway, you can just delete your posts so people who haven't already read your posts, don't read them and as I said, I will aslo delete mine. I did not mean to focus on it brother, just felt it wrong if I read it and didn't correct it.
