AssalamuAlaikum Warhmatullah Wa Barakatuh

I just need a little guidance on the method for making up missed prayers. Alhamdulillah Allah SWT has given me the strength to begin praying and inshallah i wish to keep it up permanently.

I have calculated that i have missed 6803 days of prayer (I have prayed during the period i have missed prayers but not sure when... Thus i will be making qadhaa of these prayers also).

Would i be correct if i prayed a full days qadhaa with each prayer or can i only do qadhaa for a fjr fard with the fajr prayer. For example, i intend to do qadhaa for Fajr/Zuhr/Asr/Maghrib and Isha with the Fajr prayer of tomorrow morning. I would also like to do the same with the Zuhr prayer of tomorrow and the rest of the prayers. Would that be permissible?

Also i am unsure of how to make Qadhaa for the Zuhr prayer of Fridays. Although i rarely missed the Jumua'h prayer i'm unsure how to make qadhaa of this or whether or not it's required.

I thank you in advance and ask that you keepme in your prayers.

Jazakallah.

Assalamu aliakum brother,

You can pray any qada prayer at any time. The only time you cannot pray is on three times:
i) Sunrise to 15 mins after sunrise
ii) 15 mins before sunset to sunset
iii) 5 mins before start of zuhr time to 5 mins after start zuhr time (the zuhr start time on calendars is actually zawal time - zuhr starts 5 mins after that)
You can also pray qada after Fajr and after Asr unlike Nafl salaat. You can pray Fajr qada in Isha time or Zuhr time or whenever. Any qada can be prayed at any time. You can pray a full days qada prayer after a single prayer if you wish as well.

Qada for Juma' is 4 raka't zuhr

From 6803 days you did not pray some prayers and prayed some - you only have to make qada of the prayers you did not pray. For example you prayed most of the Juma's so you don't have to make qada of that.

Intention: Your intention in your heart for qada salaat should be like this: "From all the (Fajr/Zuhr/Asr...) prayers which I have missed this is the (1st/2nd/3rd...)"

AssalamuAlaikum and Jazakallah Brother

Although i rarely/occasionally missed the jumuah prayers, I can't remember how many i missed or even when they were missed. Please enlighten me as to how i'm going to work it out. I thought it might be better to be cautious and repeat them all, but you state otherwise... Should i leavethe qadhaa of Friday Zuhr completely?

Wassalam

Assalamu aliakum,

For each salaat you should make an estimate with which you are confident with. For example jumu'a, think about in a year how many you may have missed from 54 weeks. You do the same for all salaats. Is it 50%, 75%, 90%...?

Regarding "when" they were missed - its not important. As long as you know the total for each salaat you missed, you should keep track of which number from the missed one you are praying in your intention (1st/2nd/3rd...).
