Walaikum assalam..

Uve indeed posted in the wrong place.. should have visited a Physicians forum instead.. even we Doc's come here to learn some deen from these pious souls.. and starting off a thread for just a worldy assignment would eat up valuable space and time of many.. not to mention scaring lay ppl.. I guess this forum should be used as a tool for learning deen and kept to that..

wa assalam..

Im aware that this is an islamic forum, however i have been a member for 5 yrs now and from time to time the members do actually help each other out with "worldy" assignments as u so put it.

Assalam alaikum..

Plz serious advice.. never try ur medical genuis even on a pet dog.. lest it may sleep forever..it takes 10 to 11 hard years to become a physician.. even then it it takes serious in depth knowledge to make a rt diagnosis . a slight error could steer someones life off the cliff. Im a post graduate in internal medicne and deliberately desist speaking medical jargon on a non professional forum, except for a health advice if sought from a bro / sis to which I guide them to a specialist concerned.
heard from Maulana Tariq jamil saheb (db) that every person today feels he's either a doctor or a Mufti.. so to start a thread would uneccessairly invite a foolish debate from ppl who have no sense of the subject..

Sister Umrah has been given a case study which she can solve by checking into the NEJM web site (nejm.org) and clicking on the CME section..there are plenty of case studies there whcih she might find very resourseful.

:ws: Brother,

I think you are being deliberately harsh and obtuse to the Sister. She asked for "opinions" and those who are qualified will reply and others will stay away.

No one is suggesting that unqualified folks should start diagnosing and/or suggesting therapies or remedies.

Maulana Tariq Jameel is also neither a Mufti nor a Physician so his opinion is equally invalid as someone who isn't a Mufti or a Physician.

I am pretty sure that the Sister knows that this is a Non-Scientific forum there must be a reason as to why she is choosing to post it here.

Lastly there are plenty of people here who are physicians or qualified and practising in fields related to Healthcare.

Assalam alaikum W.W...

U got me wrong brother Muadh.. the post u quoted was directed to a brother who has deleted his reply. Ive given the link to the sis where she can get help... I guess Uve missed out on many such posts from lay ppl who claim to diagnose and give spurious advices. its good to be stern at times when foolish ppl try experriments which can jeopardise human lives.
apart from discussing prophetiic medicine indepth medical case studies should at best be avoided at such forums...

and I request brother muadh to make dua for this sinner..

wa assalam..
