If anyone has been following this historic event, i ask that you voice your opinion on this issue now
there is many things troubling the people about this plan
i want to know what is good about the plan from an Islamic standpoint
and what is really so wrong about it
what i have heard so far is that:
that that have incomes somewhere between 150-140% of the poverty level and are eligible will be allowed to gain health insurance through state based trades and subsidies
it will raise the taxes for those that make a certain amount
Soon, everyone must purchase health insurance or face a fine. There are some exceptions for low-income people.
Employers must provide health care to their workers
gives free health care to those that are eligible through a program called medicaid.
hmm
so whats wrong with all that?
besides the fact that now almost everyone HAS to have health insurance?
