The Khanqah is in Gadai, Dera Ghazi Khan. Arif Billah Hadhrat Shaikh Ali Murtaza rahmatullah alayhi had requested his grave to be at the entrance of the khanqah. As soon as you enter the main gate, its on the left hand side. As requested, the grave is in the open courtyard, right next to where people take their shoes off. Such a great waliullah and such a great alim of the deen and he desired to be buried next to the shoe area - Allahu Akbar!
There is no mazaar. The humble grave is totally unmarked and unless you are standing right in front of it, you wont even realise it's a grave. Alhumdulillah, this unworthy individual has seen all the graves of the masha'ikh-e-naqshband from Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam up to Arif Billah Hadhrat Shaikh Ali Murtaza rahmatullah alayhi and I have to say Hadhrats RA grave is the most aajiz grave one could possibly imagine.

Salaam Bro...
Have u been to the ones in India? Like?
Hadhrat Baqi Billah rahmatullah alayhi ~ Delhi (India)
Hadhrat Muhsin Dehlawi rahmatullah alayhi ~ Deihi (India)
Hadhrat Noor Muhammad Badyooni rahmatullah alayhi Delhi (India)
These were the tough ones to find but Alhamdullilah... Saw them all...
But bro.. Hadrath Mohsin Rah (which in our Shayks website says its called taunq but its Mehrauli now, its in Amina Masjid near Hauz i Shamsi... Another place which is saintly is a place where Hadrath Qutubuddin Bhaktiyar khaki rah for who Hadrath Iltumnish Rah built Qutub Minar, Hadrath Baba Fareedudeen GanjShakar rah and Another Waliullah whose name i cant remember did muraqaba and the stone in which they used to pray and do muraqaba is still the way it was... Its Right next to Hauz i Shamsi in Aulia Masjid Mehrauli, Delhi) was the most toughest to find.. His grave is a few yards away from his grandfathers grave Hadrath Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehlavi Rah

Since when did this grave tourism started, we know that the Prophet :saw: advised us to visit the graves so that the manzar of death is remembered, but this^ is something else altogether...
Please don't quote everything you hear, there's already enough misinformation regd. Tabligh.

I'm quite bewildered at the moment as well, perhaps it's put of their 'tariqa' (Sufi order) to visit graves ? Why I don't know maybe they gain some special benefit from doing so, however I have heard of a lot of people who do this visiting various graves of different mashaykh, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't really see the point especially if you weren't connected to him and didn't learn from him etc

Your ignorance and adab is clapable and also your insight into the matter is astounding. What do the elders say that if you dunno something then 'ssshhhhhh'

Aah, getting touchy and personal now are we... Bruv, let me explain this in a better way, perhaps i wasnt clear enough, let me explain.
First of all, we don't need to prove anything to anyone, Allah swt chooses who wishes to be guided to siraatul Mustaqeem. Its in our interest whether we follow the Great Akabir in full and not wish to practice and nullify what the age as come not to practice anymore. With due respect to some of the scholars who do say not to visit the graves, if you persist in asking them then you'll know that they say this to the layman coz most of the principles followed by the rightly guided sufis cannot be understood by the layman and hence when practiced by the layman without understanding becomes to what we see as Grave worshippers. I stand and follow the position what the Great Akabir did in which they did visit the graves but not like the aam majma of this era like Ahl Al Bidaah and all their misguided practices. If you have any knowledge on Sulook, then its not incumbent for everyone to go, but if you wish to and follow a few guidelines on adab, your sure to benefit a lot and that has no way connected to any of the knowledge of what the outside world condemns us on and we wouldn care less, Allah guides who he wills and opens up the realities to whoever he wills. If you should know, All the great Akabirs where connected to Great Auliyas who were sufis of high caliber. Interestingly, Hadrath Ilyas Rahmathullahi Alay Had khilafat from a naqshbandi shaykh... Its only now that you see that some TJ's condemn the sufis which would have been hard to digest if the reviver of this noble cause ever had to find out if he were alive with us today.
Enough as been said about this issue, i'm content with the practice of my roses. :) You can go on now..
You're not the only one akhii, hopefully this brother nakshband can shed some light on this... If there is any light to be shed.......
There are so many threads on this issue brothers... why not search a bit and you'll find your answers... A little bit of hardwork could help perhaps..

The ulema of deoband believe faiz can be taken from graves but it is for the khawaas not awaam. Clearly stated in al muhanad by imam saharanpuri rh. The grave of mianji nur Muhammad is a favourite for akabir of deoband. Maulana qamruz zaman ilahbadi db spent some days 5 days I think at the grave of hazrat mujadid alf thani rh in muraqabah mostly. More can be said on this but suffice to say not for the awaam. Some mashaikh believe that at times more faiz can be achieved from the dead than the living but this is not the norm. Let us not even get started on shaykh zakariya rh and his trips to various mazhars for faiz.

I agree that the ‘methods’ for such practices should not be discussed on the forum but the ‘concept’ should. You might find it interesting to note that maulana motala db discussed the issue a lot in his ramadan majlises. These were open majlises broadcast on the net.

Ok, some dont understand or dont believe that you can attain barakah & rahmah at the graves of the pious. maybe we shouldnt make the ziyarah of jannatul baqi/shubayka/ma'la either

Alhamdullilah pluto bhai, you should listen to ur mufti brother.. Next time when u don understand somethin or its out of ur reach, before replyin do mashwara.. U would be held accountable if u slip(if u know what I mean)
Having a diff opinion is Alhamdullilah.. But direspecting.. This not the way of the deobandis or a muslim whose understood the kalima properly..
Stick to ur scholar.. And don visit the graves if he says so.. That's better for you.. Now put the matter to rest and don't confuse yourself..
As Salaam o Alaikum
