Respected br "Deobandi", any chance you can give us a brief (or detailed :D ) account of what Majalis-e-Faqir talks about - just curious as to why you say they are ajeeb. Unfortunately, i can't read urdu, else i would have purchased the books myself and read them.

Brother, I meant ajeeb in very positive sense. The Books are compiled by Maulana Prof. Muhammad Aslam Naqshbandi. He started compiling Maulana Zulfiqar Sahib's malfoozat and majaalis in 1991. They are very beneficial for Saalikeen.

Yes, SSBA is on Devon. I take that back about majlis happening at SSBA every time. Mostly it happens there. Sometimes it takes place at one of the murideen’s house. Loud Zikr takes place very rare. It is according to Chishtiya, Saabariya, Ashrafiya. Mostly Hazrat Mufti sahib (db) gives Dars on subject of Tasawwuf or reads from book. Either way it is very beneficial for all the brothers and sisters attending.

MashAllah, being present at the conference must have been amazing. Alhamdulilah, the conference call was mostly clear quality and Sheikh Zulfiqar's bayan was audible. Some points worth mentioning are:


Even if you are on your death bed, and you ask Allah swt for forgiveness, before your soul is taken out and if you've asked for forgiveness with a clear heart... you will w/the blessings of Allah swt - be forgiven! Allah-hu-Akbar!

Even dogs are more humble and persisting than we are! Some reasons why include: A master can always kick a dog around and do whatever he likes to him but regardless, the dog always returns to the master - the master can even decide to not feed him and yet the dog still returns w/love and gratitude..why?... because he has the traits of persistence, obedience, and humbleness...so why are we as humans not as good in traits as dogs?? Why do we think we are better, more superior and honorable than the dogs who atleast show those terrific traits!?...

The reality is we all are worth nothing and we are only made of dirt! <--That is our solid truth. So shall we not try to atleast be better than the dogs who atleast don't have the intelligence that Allah has bestowed upon us? Yet these dogs have better characteristics than we do .. regardless...Shall we not use our intelligence and become better Muslims?

Well Alhamdulilah, there were a lottt of points that are worth mentioning and I'm sure you can listen in on the bayan yourself as soon as it's updated on to the tasawwuf site, inshAllah. So once again .. may Allah give us tawfeeeq and allow us to make use of the knowledge that was made accesible to us today.. Ameen.

agar hamari harkatoon per Allah ney parda na dala to akhirat per humaray ahl o ayal kya karain gaye.

Iblees refused one command of Allah and consequently all of man kind stones him and he is petrified in stone pillars ( reference to the jamarat ). We refuse so many commands of Allah, if Allah does not forgive us what will happen to us on the Day of judgement.
