Hyperthyroidism

AAWW,

Am diagonalized with hyperthyroidism late last year. I have been taking some drugs to bring the level of the thyroid production to stable level before surgical operation to remove part of the thyroid.

Please, i want to know if there are foods/supplements that i can be taking to eliminate this problem as am afraid of the surgical operation and the fact that i have to be on drugs for a long time even after the operation. Am also afraid of the effect of the drugs on my liver after prolong usage.

The second one is a support group where they post messages. The author of that health site (healingnaturallybybee) Bee, herself had thyroid issues. Read the site and join the yahoo support group.

I have not come across anything besides drugs and surgery to help you with your hyperthyroidism.However many people recover fully following treatment either by drugs and/or surgery.
May ALLAH SWT give you full speedy recovery.
