i asked u a question regarding whether jolen cream bleach is halal or not. i knew that all the ingrediants are orite, but my question was that by using it wud it make ur hair unpermeable. with hair dyes n bleaches u need to make sure the product is permeable so water can go through when doing wuzu n so forth. the product contains ammonia which is believed to be the substance that doesnt allow the hair to be permeable but im not a 100percent sure. the accelorater in the product contains ammonia

Assalamu alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
We just contacted Jolen to make sure and they have confirmed that washing the hair after use (as per instructions) would ensure that all residue is removed. It would not leave an impermeable film preventing water reaching the hair.
The product itself is a bleach - it doesn't leave any lacquer-type chemicals behind. Back to the Ammonium Peroxide. These are the details of the chemicals separately not after they synthesise when they become a totally different product - ammonium peroxide..
ammonium: The ion NH4 derived from ammonia; behaves in many respects like an alkali metal ion
Peroxide: A viscous liquid with strong oxidizing properties; a powerful bleaching agent; also used as a disinfectant and (in strong concentrations) as an oxidant in rocket fuels.
We hope this answers your question.

Your understanding is correct. We believe it is permissable.
