Salam,
I am new here and had a question to ask that has probably been already asked. I read somewhere that having your own restaurant is either Haram or frowned upon. Is that true for all restaurants? What about the purely 100% halal ones? A friend's Dad has one and he makes sure everything is halal and it sells stuff like sandwiches and shawrama etc.
So could anyone plz give me info on why people think it could be haram to own your own restaurant.
