Please download Manzil and azaan of Medina and listen to it by closing your eyes and check if there are any negative reactions, if there are you might need to seek treatment from a Raqi or Amil, to expel the reiki jinns from you body.

Please do some googling you will find its dangers and negative effects.

Does Reiki involve meditation?

I think you're better off following sufism and doing muraqaba (possibly in the naqshbandi mujadidi branch) under the tutelage of a fully qualified trustworthy murshid/guide.

When we meditate, we attract beings from other spiritual realms toward us. At least via the Islamic muraqaba, we recite the name of Allah as we meditate. This offers us protection.

IMHO It is probably just harvesting and redistributing universal energy like the OP and most reiki practitioners believe.
