anyone know info on this? I think its suppose to happen this weekend?

someone i know is going there to attend it as well as business, wanted to get info on if anyone is going..

yep ur rite sista, its this sunday and ill be goin inshaAllah. Sheik Abdul Aziz Ahmed will be there and there will also be a video message from Imam Zaid Shakir.

The UK really is blessed :alhamd: to have such great events taking place. But I am sure Shaykh Nuh and Shaykh Yaqubi have visited the US? Well, till then, I recommend listening to the Ya Lateef dhikr in General Islam. :mash: its beautiful.

Eh. Y'all have ISNA (the talk part, not the social part) and rihla and all those various conferences and retreats in the States. It's not all that bad..

ninjabi> Shaykh Nuh has come to US, he comes every 6 months or so to do a Suhba, Spiritual Conference. It's usually 3-4 days long, and mostly it was held in VA, though in the past few years it's been in Buffalo, and California. This past July it was held in Buffalo, and back in Dec 2003 it was held in San Jose, CA, and this upcoming Dec 2004 it will be held in L.A. insha'Allah.

As for Shaykh Muhammad Yaqubi, he too was in the USA in fact in NJ just a month ago in June 2004 at a Spiritual retreat, the Nima retreat.

If you check your masjid for upcoming events you can find out when these speakers will be available. But, if I hear about these two in the future of when they're coming again I can let you know of the events that way you can plan to attend if you can insha'Allah. Also if you want to know of any other islamic event or another speaker speaking I can let you know about them too insha'Allah...
