My mother often quotes a hadith that says:
Qal Allaha ta'ala:"Isa' abdi fab isa' ma'ak"
Which means:
Allah (SWT) says "Work hard my servent so I can work with you"
I guess the meaning is that Allah (SWT) will help the one who works hard to worship him or that Allah (SWT) will help the one who is not lazy, etc.?

I was wondering if anyone could find if this is a true hadith or a fabrication and where it is to be found.
