I wish to read a book on a great muslim traveller of yore, 'Ibn Battuta', perhaps the greatest amongst the travellers ever. Has anyone read a book on him which they could recommend it to me? There's one written by Ross E. Dunn, but have no idea how good it is, I'm looking for opinions from those who've had the opportunity to have read on the subject. Preferably in english, if there any books even in Urdu, do let me know.

I had come across a post of brother ENIGMA who I think has read on the subject, but, alas, there's no way I can contact him.

I have the book by Ross Dunn lying around somewhere, I haven't read it but I've skimmed through certain sections of it, at the very least I could say it is an interesting read :mash:

JazakAllah bro ibnummabd, that'll help, I think I'll go with Ross, of the many reviews I've read on Amazon and elsewhere, most of them say it's a good starting point.
