Zinda Tilismath :confused:

Mix some sea salt (if you don't have access to this, then just regular salt will do too, but sea salt is better) with some lukewarm water and gargle (take it in, swish it around in the mouth and then for about 30 seconds or so, hold the mixture in your mouth around the tooth that hurts. do this about 5-6 times, should get better InshaAllah). This might not address the cause, but InshaAllah should give relief from the ache.

Clove oil also works, but note that pure clove oil can be a little strong, so just use about 3 drops of clove oil in a quarter teaspoon of olive oil and dab the mixture onto cotton wool and apply to the tooth.

I would suggest try the salt remedy first because Alhamdolillah it is quite effective.

And read the following dua for pain:

Abu `Abdullah bin Abul-`as (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I complained to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) about a pain I had in my body. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Place your hand where you feel pain and say: `Bismillah (With the Name of Allah)' three times; and then repeat seven times:

`A`udhu bi`izzatillahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa `uhadhiru
(I seek refuge with Allah and with His Power from the evil that afflicts me and that which I apprehend).

TOOTH PAIN AND SWELLING OF GUMS:Take one spoon of vinegar and add half tea spoon of Kalonji oil and apply on affected area for two or three minutes and rinse the mouth. Repeat this process twice a day. Treatment may continue for one week.

There's no way I'm massaging my wife's earlobe all day. I'm just gonna have to register with an NHS dentist, tried clove wasn't effective.

if you dont have a dentist then you can arrange an emergency appointment. if you call now they will find you a dentist for tomorrow. problem will be finding a female dentist.

asalamualaikum,buy clove oil and put it on the effected tooth with a cotton bud inshaAllah pain will go in about 10 secs.
clove oil is a very strong natural pain killer and extremely effective antibiotic , infact it is the best.

I was in same situation, get her to shove salt in it, like I mean loads, till it stings. It will hurt, I tried this after someone recommended it. Do it tell her and run after she puts it in :p
