I've always had a fascination with the mailiki madhab, been my favouritre madhab largly due to the principle "practice of the people of madinah". but alas i know absloulty none maliki ulema, so may has well stick to hanafi, where the ulema are popping up left, right and center.

JazakuAllahkhairun for posting up this information event, I hope it turned out to be a great event where you not only increased in your remembrance of Allah swt but as well as gained knowledge that you can benefit from as well as teach others to insha'Allah.

I wanted to say to you I apologize for not responding to your post as I was also at a spiritual camp this past week. THere was internet access but since it was only one computer for all the campers, I decided my mail and discussion board readings could wait as these camps are about getting away from the dunya's pressures and relaxation time to reflect and benefit insha'Allah.

Alhamdulillah the camp I was at was really good. There was some good and bad to it, but I'm trying to focus on all the good stuff that went on there and overlook all the bad that was there.. insha'allah I hope the next one will be better and they'll improve on it by looking at how their 1st one was insha'Allah.
