our PROPHET PBUH never ate three times a day only once or twice; the best stimulus for eating is hunger which we feel at the end of the day in Ramazan, so if you are not hungry upto that extent dont eat even if takes two days!

our PROPHET PBUH never ate fried food!

out PROPHET PBUH never ate onions garlic

reduce oily foods

if you are fond of eating wheat then replace it with barley

in every textbook of medicines it is witten that caloric restriction is the only way to reduce weight

Eat well, eat less and be physically active. We've got machines that do the 'hard' work for us now and on top of that we sit at a desk or table for large portions of the day. Not good. We have no idea how our food comes to us - it comes all packaged up but how did it get there, what effort was taken, who worked on it... we are totally out-of-touch with the natural order of things now - everything from work, to food, to 'play' is all (man)ufactured. No wonder we have so many waswasas to top it off... we've become easy targets for all sorts of ills since we have no clue about the workings of basics anything anymore - not even our own health and diet. How many of us collect wheat, process it and then bake our own bread? Try that for a change and see how much effort is required to produce a single loaf. And then think about how much you're eating and the actual effort you are putting into that food - this should help us eat more balanced insha'Allah.

[edit: sorry, may have taken the thread off-course... don't know if this ^ has anything to do with sunnah.]

sister you need not worry about things so much all waswasas are negative as told by the HOLY QURAN in surah ALNAS
let me tell you one thing no negative thinking (waswasa) can come for ALRAHMAN
no positive thinking can come from shaitan

Regular physical exercise is important for weight loss to keep the metabolism at a high rate. Walking every day after the evening meal will help. Brothers can try walking to the masjid at least once a day.

this is true sister
physical activity is very much encouraged in our deen as praying five times is the best excercise for all joints; better than yoga.
similarly Umrah and Hajj have the same pupose apart from ibada
but if u walk for forty minutes and then two take two slices of bread, they provide the same amout of calories which you have burnt during walk! so the food reduction has the pivotal role in weight reduction
