Shaytaan lures the unmindful.
Always keep busy.Like goin on SF. An empty mind is shaytaan's work shop.Work hard. Be intrested in various games/sports(islamically), reading books, listening to lectures e.t.c. Keep close to Allah by remembering him, offering salah perfectly and by tlkin2him often in duas. These r th ways of staying out of trubl of sins. Once the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam drew a straight line with his finger n said. "let us say this is the path of Allah". He then drew on either sides of it several lines at various angles. These are the other ways and behind each of these is a devil that lures the unmindful. So said our beloved prpht Muhmmd Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Everysingle act becomes an ibada(form of worship) if done with a good intention.E.g sleeping=when i wake up ill have more energy and will be able to do more ibadah..Playing=ill get fresh and pray and thank Allah e.t.c.SF=I'll learn and teach others...I'll try to become abetter muslim.

:jazak: for the excellent reminder. What helps is learning the masnoon duas, so you know what to say when you wake up, when you enter the bathroom, when you leave the bathroom, when you eat, when you travel etc. In this way the constant rememberence of Allah swt builds up in your heart.
I'd also say, keep yourselves attached to people. Don't be alone, for that is when shaytaan comes to you even more. If your family is leaving home, and you know you'll be alone, make an effort to go with them. Or leave solitude to go and meet friends, or go to the masjid. Avoid being alone as much as you can. Try to engage in activities all the time... don't just lie around bored.

Jazakallah khairan....Honestly never thought of the dua thing...I just pray dua for the sake of it..Dont even remeber that am asking allah for help...But from now on inshallah...it'll be different...Jazakallah sooo much....Hmm solitude.....I think it depends on ppl...Like with some ppl solitude is better coz if the socialize with people they might do so many sins like gheebah(backbiting),fogetting that Allah is watching, hurting them e.t.c...But I get your point....
Jazakallah khairan Zaadakallahu ilman wa fahman(may allah increase u n ur knowledge and wisdom...And me too aameen

I think solitude has its benefits. For example, our beloved Nabi saw would go to Hira to ponder over the reason of his existence, and that was also where he received the first revelation. Allows us to focus, etc. For example, waking up at night in Tahjjuud. The reward is huge if we don't tell anyone... but if we go around saying "I wake up for Tahjjud everynight!" then the reward is obviously reduced. Some acts of ibadaah, yes of course are best done in seclusion.
But shaytaan also attacks us when were are alone, as this is when we are most vulnerable. I read somewhere once that if you ward of the waswaas (insinuating thoughts) of the shayateen and do not make amal (action) upon then when you are with other people, then :insh: you are rewarded. But if you do the same when you are in seclusion and alone, the reward is multiplied. :subh:.
May Allah swt allow us to strive for his deen against all setbacks. Ameen.

Too true jazakallah fora...Its true that shaytaan attacks more when we are on our own obviously because we have that thought that no1 is watching..but i think solitude is good when a person constantly remains in the dhikr(remembrance) of Allah ta'alah...
It deoends really. But what you said was true about shaytaan attacking more when we are alone...Its ajeeb(amazing) though.coz we dont do bad in public coz of people and we dont fear the one that deserves to be feared...May Allah give us the tawfeeq(ability) to fear him ni private as we fear people in public...
Aaameen to your duas.

I dont know wallahu aalam but these days its like Allah ta'ala is being disobeyed .so many gunaahs going on and that...u go to do amr bil maruf(advice) and they just give a rude comment back..''save yourself form humiliating yourself'' somat like that...and sometimes solitude is better coz all stuff like this goes on..we cant even do amr bil maroof and then its like when we keep seeing stuff like that it no longer is bad to us...we become used to it...when allah is being disobeyed we shouldatleast feel bad in our heart....
like theres a story like this where allah ordered an angel to distroy a land..the angel said oh allah there is certain slave of yours in there who worships u day and night..allah replied destroy him too..never did he feel pain in his heart when i wa being disobeyed..wallahhu aalam..again i think it depends on each individual and th situations..wallahu aalam
