Assalam alaikum

The Prophet (sall-Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"If a housefly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for the one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure of the disease." (Saheeh al-Bukhaaree, Vol. 4, No. 537)

This means that if a fly is on the surface it is dangerous but if it is submerged then it has a cure.

MashaAllah great hadith. Science began with Islam.. But come on, tell the truth, if a fly fell in your water bottle, would you dip it in then take it out and drink the water? Would you really have that much trust in Allah?

Yeah my Aunt told me about this hadith in Syria! I had never heard it before! She said scientists have found out things about this recently!

The hadith is true and this was proved by the science. One wing causes poison but the other wing interrupt the poison like antidote.
