:salam:
Everyone i want to say i love you all, We are all one family. I felt like making this thread coz i felt there was a deficit in mutual love and respect all around us. We are all guilty of insulting fellow Muslims who are our brothers and sisters. I just want to say i pray to Allah from my heart that all of you get the best in this world and Akhirah.
Lets make Dua for our muslim family all around the world.
Bismillahir-rehmanir-raheem.
Ya Allah,
We are weak and we are disunited,
Instill unity in our hearts and action,
Guide all of us in the right path,
Some of us are in the wrong path following different deviant sects and we dont know it, enlighten us,
Some of us know it and still follow it because of ego, save us from it,
A Lot of us are being oppressed, lighten our stress,
and a lot of us are oppressors, forgive our sins,
And On day of Resurrection, include all of us in the group of people on the right near our beloved Prophet (saw).
Ameen.

Yes we all have a relation/bond stronger then the blood relation. It is the relation of Imaan.
We all are the ummati of Hazrat Muhammed (peace be upon him).
Thru SF I have made many freinds. Bro Fusualhilam had rightly mentioned about the dastarkhaan whereever we go.
I have got friend who are staying in neighbourhood like Dr Abu tamim thru SF.
May Allah accept the prayer of bro Azhar. Ameen

Brotherhood in Islam
Who do you fight the most with?
Certainly with our brothers/sisters.
But who do we love the most?
Certainly its our brothers/sister.
Even if we Muslims argue and fight with each other we belong to one Family. Even if we belong to different country, race, age, or even if we dont speak the same language we can recognize each other, because we have One thing in common no matter what happens. Its Lailaaha illAllah Muhammadur-rasoolullah.

May Allah reward you for attempting to revive a dead sunnah:
Hadith recorded by Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal: two things will become extremely rare towards the end of time; a dinar of the lawful and a true brother in islam (loss of love and affection amongst the muslims).

"Nafaa' ek hein is qawm kaa, nuqsaan bhi ek
ek hi sab kaa Nabi, Deen bhi, Imaan bhi ek
Haram-e-paak bhi, Allah bhi, Qur'an bhi ek
kuch barhi baat thi, hote jo Musalmaan bhi ek?"
(Attempting translation!)
For us, profit and loss is one
our Nabi (sallallaahu 'alayhi wasallam), our Deen and Imaan is one
The Haram is one as is Allah and the Qur'an
So would it have been so big a thing if the Muslims were one?
(Sorry, sounds terrible)

Lets all do something worthy for our Muslim ummah today.
Just ONE thing.
All of you think of one Muslim brother/sister that you dont like because he/she have been bad to you. Now just forgive him/her without keeping any grudge in your heart.
Who is with me? To avoid Riya(show off) you dont ve to necessarily post it in here.
“The reward of the evil is the evil thereof, but whosoever forgives and makes amends, his reward is upon Allah.” (Quran, al-Shura 42: 40)
Allah didn't even limit the reward by being specific, He just said its 'upon' him. So you can imagine the immense reward for forgiveness.

Assalam O Alaikum Azhar Brother. I liked your thread in fact I strongly agree with you. Islam is the religion of peace and love. All Muslims are brothers and sisters. Now if we really think of "brother" then I have a question. If (khuda na khawasta) anyone have a situation where his real brother astray from the right path then what should be done? Isn't it that some technique should be used to clear his mind or to pray for him?

:ws: bro.
If ones real brother is going astray then its a very tragic thing. I am not knowledgeable to give any specific advice. All i can say is make Dua to Allah constantly with patience. And remind ones brother of the right path in a very gentle and subtle manner. Being harsh will lead him farther from the right path rather than doing good. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can give a more specific dua or advice.
May Allah guide us and our Family in the right path.
Amee.

The Messenger a of Allah was seated in a gathering with the Sahabah when he looked towards the entrance and said, “A man of Paradise is coming.” At that instance someone who seemed to be very ordinary entered the mosque where they were seated. A Sahabi was curious as to why the Prophet said this, so he followed the man to his house. This Sahabi told the man that he was a traveler and stayed as a guest. For three days the Sahabi saw nothing unusual, so he finally told the man what the Prophet had said and asked him what was so special. The man thought for a long time and said, “There might be one thing – before going to sleep every night I forgive everyone and sleep with a clean heart.”

In a Hadith Qudsi
Prophet Musa (as) said to Allah: "O my Lord, who among Your servants is the dearest to You?"
Allah replied, "The one who has the power to (punish), but forgives."
(Bayhaqi)
So have mercy on your fellow Muslims, revenge is not the best answer rather Forgive and become the dearest of Allah the Almighty.

Abu Hurairah :anhu: relates that the Prophet :saw: said,
Allah will ask on the Day of Judgment:
“Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory?
Today, on a day when there is no shade but Mine,
I shall shade them with My shade.”

Love each other for the sake of Allah.
We are not perfect. Even if you see a fault in a fellow Muslim, give him/her the benefit of doubt. Try to show the right path. Please take a look at this following thread http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?71256-The-Prophet%28saws%29-amp-the-Alcoholic and you will see that looking for good in a fellow Muslim who sins is actually the Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet :saw:

Please take a moment to ponder over the following Hadith:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah :saw: said:
"The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and
every servant [of Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven,
EXCEPT for the man who has a grudge against his brother.
[About them] it will be said: Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled."
It was related by Muslim (also by Malik and Abu Dawud).
Do you hold any grudge against any Muslim at this moment?
If you do please lighten your heart and have no residual bad feelings against him/her. InshAllah, In this way we will be included with the ones who are forgiven every Monday and Thursday.

Just imagine all this fast moving life just comes to an end in a split second when we die. Take a moment from your life to reflect upon this thought. Remember Death. Remember those who all have passed away. Make Dua for them. May Allah forgive their sins and protect them from the punishment of Grave. Ya Rahmaan, Ya Raheem, Show them Jannah in their graves and give them glad tiding of Paradise. May Allah give us the opportunity to Say Shahadah at the time of Death and make us die as a Muslim. Ameen.
Where are my brothers and sisters? :-)
Hope all of you are doing fine. If not, May Allah have Mercy on you, May Allah protect you from all bad things and give you Happiness. Ameen.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ood (ra) love for Fellow Muslim.
Once Abdullah ibn Mas'ood (may Allah be pleased with him) was passing by an area in the city of Qufa. There, a group of wrong doing people have gathered to have a party. They were engrossed in drinking wine. A singer called Jazan was entertaining them with songs. Jazan had a very beautiful voice. When Abdullah ibn Mas'ood heard his voice while passing by, he said in amazement, "So beautiful is his voice. How wonderful it would be if he had used that voice to recite the Quran!" After saying this, Abdullah covered his head with a cloth and left that place. When Jazan noticed Abdullah ibn Mas'ood leaving, he asked, "Who is that man and what was he saying?" ..
The people in the gathering told him, "He is Abdullah ibn Mas'ood, a companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He said that your voice is very beautiful. How wonderful it would be if you had used your voice to recite the Quran!"
Jazan was struck by his comments. He threw away his musical instrument and ran to Abdullah ibn Mas'ood. The two of them embraced each other and shed tears profusely. Abdullah ibn Mas'ood said to him, "Why should I not love the one who loves Allah?" Thereafter, Jazan repented to Allah and stayed in the company of Abdullah ibn Mas'ood to learn the Quran and other teachings of Islam. He learned to such an extent that he became one of the great scholars of his time.
