The Great Imaam Was Blessed with great with very pious parents. His father once sat by a river. He was hungry and found a tree from which apples would drop and cross the river towards him. So he took one of these apples and ate it. While he was eating this fear came in his heart that this apple was haram and not his. So he went to the house of the apple tree owner and related the incident and asked for forgiveness.
To this the house owner said "I will only forgive you if you marry my daughter, She is blind and deaf." The Man then married this women. When he met her he realised she was not blind or deaf but normal. So he told the Women's farther. To this the father replied" She is a very god fearing person never seen haram or heard haram." But just look at the this marriage. A marriage out of fear of Allah. Surely from such a marriage only pious individuals can be born. Who was this pious individual... Imaam Abu Hanifa
