hazrat is my beloved ustad,he is principle in jamia ashrafia rander which is oldest darulum in india 145 years old,he is also shaikhul hadis in jamia sufibaug - surat.he is also chairman of rander hilal committee and son in law of late mo.ismail mota sb ra(priciple of jamia husainiya-rander)
hazrat is a khadim e khas of masihul ummat r.a and done ifta under him,he is very kind person and easy to meet,every one meet him without any problem.if someone want to talk with him plz meet with my refrence and also tell my salam

Even older than DU Deoband and Mazahir al-Uloom, Saharanpur??? I thought Rander's was the oldest darululoom in Gujarat, but not the whole of India...

Jamia Ashrafiyah Rander was established in 1870 (1286 AH) four years after Darul Uloom Deoband. So its not the oldest, but one of the oldest. Maulana Yaqub Ashraf sahab's great great grandfather was advised by Maulana Ahmad Ali Saharanpuri :rahma:, who was the ustadh of Maulana Qasim Nanotwi :rahma: to establish a madrasah in Gujarat as Allah had blessed him with wealth. It has produced some great scholars, one of the living ones in the UK is Maulana Yaqub Qasmi of Dewsbury, now aged 85 (I think) who graduated in 1953.
