How does a person differ from having faith from the heart from having faith from the tongue..

So the Ultimate ? here is can a muslim lose his Imaan if he doesnt have faith of the heart..

As no one can see whats in anyones heart no one has teh right to judge anyone ... BUt just a general topic and view of opinions i'm after people !! Only allah can Judge remember !!

As-Salaamu 'alaykum wa-Rahmatullah

The definition of Imaan is "ACCEPTANCE BY THE HEART AND DECLARATION WITH THE TONGUE"

Imaan thus consists of two fundamentals :

1.) Accepting with the heart
2.) Declaring with the tongue what has been accepted by the heart.

In regards to your question : 'Can a Muslim lose his Imaan if he doesn't have faith of the heart?'

If there is no faith in the heart, then there is no Imaan.

With due respect to the brother, but it is very important for us to acquire correct knowledge and proper understanding of Aqaa`id. So you should seek it from the Ulama-e-Haq. This would also offer a protection for our own Imaan.
