Persians and their hate on islam?

i have come across many persian/iranians and discovered their hate on islam which is much greater then, say a jew.
im wondering what is the reason for this? they dont just hate islam out of the blue. anyone know the real reason?

It has a lot to do with how Islam is presented in their country, namely as an authoritarian's tool to oppress the population and control them...rather than the God-given means to free oneself from the suffering and other hardships that dunya and love of dunya bring with them. Think about it...
