assalam alaikoum wa rahmatoullah wa barakatouh,

I was wondering if anyone had any work of maturidi aqida in english?
I mean like the aqida sanusiyya, imam al-ghazali's foundations of the islamic belief etc...
Anything from imam al-maturidi himself or any maturidi scholar after him.

Imam al Ghazali's "Foundations of the Islamic belief" is considered a Maturidi text? I always thought that he was an Ashari.

Or is the text such that it conforms fully with both the Ashari and Maturidi school of thought and, thus, could be used to reach either of those perspectives on Aqeedah?

Yes, it is the translation of the same book. Although, I'm not sure about the quality of translation since I only possess the Urdu version of this book.

assalam alaikoum wa rahmatoullah,

Yes, imam al-ghazali is ash'ari.
I meant maturidi books which are similar to ash'ari texts such as as-sanusiyya or al-ghazali's (for giving an idea of what I was looking for)

I think Aqidah an-Nasafiyyah is a Maturidi text. I don't think there are any translations though.

Wow! Everyone should read this work, especially Salafis who falsely accuse us of negating Attributes.
