Assalamu alaykum

I have heard some brothers and sisters on here belittling some of the deobandi shuyookh, saying that they have been conned into giving talks at salafi events and that salafis were just using them. To those who think that, you need to consider if your baseera (insight) is better than that of your shuyookh? Is it likely that muslims with no knowledge and unheard of to the mashaykh are able to see through some "evil scheme" that the mashaykh were blind to? Is that likely?

Anyways, my reason for posting, is because I believe one of the greatest UK deobandi shaykhs gives a nice explanation that might bring light on the subject inshAllah:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7W4dYTLWEu8

Its only 5mins long so please watch it and mull over it and consider if your actions and efforts are counter productive to the efforts your shuyookh are making.

I hope inshAllah that brothers and sisters will appreciate the great work iera do in dawah and wish them well and aid them rather than having bitterness to them just for not being deobandi inshAllah. We are in a major catastrophe right now, that isnt just afflicted deobandis or salafis etc etc, its a calamity that is afflicting the whole entire ummah. we are facing a hardship we have never seen, even in the times of ghengis khan and the like, so please, focus your efforts on the youth and their islamic identity, on defending Islam against the onslaght of the orientalists on the many online campaigns to defame islam, help bring political stregnth to islam, help demystify islam and help spread teh dawah and do what you can for islam and dont waste a second of your precious time on useless laghw inshallah bi ithnillah

i advise myself first and formost

jazakum allahu khair

:salam:

Alot of Muslims don't seem to realise that da'wah is an invitation and that's exactly what the Shuyukh are doing, inviting the people to righteousness, goodness and peace. Imam Azam, Abu Hanifa {rh} would go to Basra al Madinatul Fitnah and debate, dialogue and do da'wah with the Shi'a. So I see no problem with Deobandi Ulema going to the masses, whether in places guided or misguided and delivering the message of Islam to them. May Allaah unite us all on haqq and may He guide us to what is good and right, Ameen.

wa Allaahu Alam.
