As salam wa alaikum
My query is regarding my Nikah. I got married and my wife is a converted muslim. She got converted to Islam before the wedding and the imam performed it.
It was in following steps:
1) Got converted and read Kalama
2) Fatiha Khani
3) Nikah Performed with Islam procedure.
4) got the Nikah certifcate
Now my parents are arguing that the nikah certificate is duplicate and does not have the masjid stamp.
So plz guide me on this issue and let me know how can i solve this

certificate is just to facilitate stuff. like births, travel for umra/hajj. If 1) and 3) were done properly, nothing else matters. congratulations you are married.
I am not doubting your wifes conversion, but Ulema do recommend a convert practice and immerse himself/herself in deen before marriage. Your wife is suppose to raise your kids in deen, so let her have a chance to learn her deen.
Keeping parents happy (when legitimate demands) is a great blessing. Go talk to the imam and get the cert stamped. If they are saying that by not having a cert you are not married, then this is baseless.

forget the certificate. that doesnt mean anything.
your proof are the ones who acted as a witness in your nikah. thats why they are called witnesses : )
anyway congratulations bro. may Allah make your marriage a happy one and remove all obstacles. it would be good if your wife attends islamic gatherings with other sisters. this will help her with her conversion.

What you only needed was a proposal (ijaab) and acceptance in front of witnesses with the tongue. zawwajni and zawwajtuk.
