Assalam Alaykum wa Rahmatallahi wa Barakatahu,
May Allah (SWT) reward you for this beautiful website.
I suggest a couple of things, which you may or may not do:
Get rid of all debate sections concerning fiqh, aqeedah and tassawuf. If we really want to learn about fiqh, aqeedah and tassawuf (in general if not IN DEPTH) we should have qualified scholars here to answer our questions - which we do in the Islam-QA sections. There is more harm than benefit and there are many arguments with many people (including myself I confess) which are not qualified.
Ban all posts which censure others for following things on which there are scholarly differences of opinion! One may include articles by scholars which have a certain opinion but others should not be censured. If there is ikhtilaf there is no need for enjoining the good and forbidding the evil as long as the deed is valid by a madhab or mujtahid Imam. For example posts about condemning "clean shaven" people (Shafiis say it's makruh), condemning chess players (Shafiis actually allowed chess), condemning halal dancing (Shafiis again allow dancing), condemning drinking coffee (many scholars especially today say coffee is halal), condemning eating shellfish, condemning pants below the ankles, condemning those who do not wear khimar or face viel, condemning those who pray with their hands to the sides, condemning those who do not pray witr, condemning those who don't wear turbans in prayer, etc. etc.
Instead of all of this condemning other people for things there is no ijma' (consensus) upon - how about we encourage others to do good deeds by posting up beneficial Sunnahs, beneficial deeds, good acts to do during different times, Ramadan merits and 1/2 Sha'ban merits, how to get into paradise, etc.
How about we get a du'a section in which we will post different du'as from either the Prophetic :saw: example, the Sahabah (Radi Allahu ta'ala 'Anhum Ajma'een), Ahlul Bayt, the Awliyah, etc. in Arabic, English, and then Arabic transliteration. Many can help out with this project by translating from Arabic or Pakistani du'a books. This would be very beneficial.
Since we are not all 'Ulema we should be banned from any Sunni vs. Shi'a debate threads, any Sunni vs. Wahhabi debate threads, any Deobandi vs. Barlewi debate threads, etc. I am guilty of many of these things as well. If a Salafi/Wahhabi comes to this site there should be a section for Salafi/Wahhabis to ask questions and clarification on Sunni beliefs through 'Ulema or through quoted articles - not through long debates which many of cause nothing but bitterness and ill-will.
After erasing the In-Depth Aqeedah, In-Depth Fiqh, and In-Depth Tassawuf sections one should add a section for Tassawuf talk just about general Tassawuf. I think this may be beneficial and not lead to debates (debates should just be banned all together) and lead to mutual cooperation.
This site should be mainly focused on mutual cooperation to the good and doing good. This site should be a MEANS to the GOOD. Our Beloved Prophet :saw: advised us to call people in and make things easy not turn them away! Instead of condemning eveyrone with a different opinion, debating with people and angering them, causing ill-will amoungst the Muslims through turning them away if they do not follow their way - one should be ENCOURAGING others to do the good, helping one by being a means to the good, aiding and helping one another in times of need, and "holding fast to the rope of Allah." On the Day of Judgement is this website going to testify "Muslims argued upon me, they hated each other they started debates without knowledge - they did not help each other but instead condemned each other and caused people to stop doing acts of worship all together!" or is it going to say "I guided people to the truth and I helped them in their time of need and I was a means to the good" if even one person is guided to good by this website it is a major blessing but if just one person is guided to bad - even kufr - through argumentation, debate, and condemnation this will be extremely bad. May Allah save us from that and forgive us for our short comings.
May Allah (SWT) reward you for this beautiful website.
