Salam Alaykum
As we see normally, there is a list of 25 Prophets mentioned by name in the Quran, plus many that have not been mentioned.
I would like to ask whether some scholars have a different list... for example, Luqman is normally not mentioned as a Prophet even though his name is in the Quran, and I have also heard that Adam was not a Prophet in a formal manner (I am not saying this is my view, simply that it has been said).
So I would kindly like some clarification on this issue.
