Watching Hollywood and Bollywood movies , Is it Permissible ?

Asalamu Aleikum Brothers , i have a habit of watching movies though i have reduced this habit and only watch those movies only who are blockbusters . . . My question is if i watch a movie in such a way , that i fast forward any sexual scenes , and fast forward songs , then is it halal for me to watch movies in this way ?? i know music is haram and there is little bit of music in movies . Still what is ruling on watching movies ??

Watching bollywood movies and listening to love songs is a detestable habit. Such movies and songs are all-too-superficial and feed the ego’s lust for this life and its trappings with absolutely no reminder of the hereafter. They entertain with illusion and plant in the heart the contrary of the love of Allah and His Prophet. They have no redeeming value and are part of the batil or empty falsehood of nonsensical activities. The time spent watching such movies will not take you by the hand to safety and happiness in the grave and the hereafter.
