Durood shareef in sunnah salah

Assalam alaykum

My question is related to the perfoming of a nawafil salah of 4 rakaats ( eg before zuhr) :

- Do we have to recite the durood shareef in the first tashahud of the 2nd rakaat after the shahada ?

4 rakahs b4 zuhr are not nafil but they are sunnah and durood should not be recited after tasshadud in sunnah mukada e.g 4 before zuhr

Yes you're tight sunnah mu'akkada. What about nawafil ? Is the ruling the same concerning durood shareef ?
