Wudu and being Mazoor

Asalaamu Alaikum,

I am a Mazoor in regards to wudu. However, I have a dilemma which I hope a brother or sister can help me with. To be regarded as a Mazoor, the problem has to occur for the entire salah time, then for the following salah period, the problem has to happen once. I understand this. However, this morning, I failed to wake up for Fajr, and I was asleep for the entire duration of the period for Fajr. My question is, am I still regarded as Mazoor, as I was unconscious (asleep) during the time? Someone please help, as this is an issue which, if I am not Mazoor, gives me problems.

Brother if you were asleep why would you even take that time into consideration?

Salaam borther. Let me explain what happened recently. I was classed a Ma'dhur due to gas problems. However, upon waking up for Fajr, I performed wudu and prayed my salah. Usually, I stay up and therefore, I know for sure if the problem happened for me to retain Ma'dhur status. However on this occasion, I fell asleep before the end of the salah period. I cannot remember if I passed gas but I do not think I did before I fell asleep. Am I no longer a Ma'dhur?. I have trying to contact a scholar to resolve this issue as of course it is a very important one, Currently, I am performing wudu and salah as though I am a Ma'dhur, but I need clarification. Do you know the answer? Has Brother AbuHijrah been online recently for me to ask him?

bro I still think you are not responsible since you are not sure. there is a famous principle which states "Certainty is not lifted by doubts". Just for my own benefit and looking at this I would say your still ma'dhur, but please wait for me to get an answer from my teacher inshaAllah in the mean time hopefully the more knowledable brothers can assist

"My understanding is that he is still madhur, since that was his default state of certainty, while there is doubt as to whether or no he left that state. So he return to his certainty".

JazakAllah brother. What would be the ruling of he was sure he did not pass wind for the time he was awake, even though he was not awake for the full salah period? Would he then not be a Ma'dhur?
