Assalmu Alaikum,

This book( by imam abdul qahir jurjani) , I believe, is used in the various dar ul uloom to teach nahw.
I am taking online arabic classes with shariahprogram.ca. They shipped me a version but the explanation of the nahw is in farsi. its nor urdu for sure, and it
has non arabic characters like pa, sheen so in all likelihood its farsi.

anyway mufti yusuf ( shariahprogram.ca) told me there is an urdu version of the book available in pakistan. Does anyone know if it is available on/off line in the usa or uk ? It would be easier for me to get.

wassalaam,

The book retailers in Bolton, and places like that carry the Urdu commentary... The one we sent is the standard one taught in Madrasahs.. the Farsi stuff on the sides is from the publisher and the author, rahimahu Allah, has nothing to do with it... We just disregard it completely, and focus on what is in the box...

Most book stores that carry madrasah texts should have the Urdu version...
