I had to sit through that really long video, waiting for something to happen, and then the lion makes noises that sound vaguely like "Allah". Come on.....aren't we just clutching at straws here?

The people who made the video are not the ones who put the lion in the cage, I should think.

If someone is brought to a stronger faith through seeing this as a miracle (and I think it is), then why should we object? People of weak faith are not foolish if they look for evidence to strengthen their faith in the revelation brought by our Prophet(s): in fact, it is obligatory for them to do just that. The injustice of putting animals in cages for show does not mean that Allah does not use those same animals to manifest His signs.

Saying that we should look at the signs around us is also not a sufficient answer, for that leads only to a general faith in God, and not to a specific faith in the truth of the prophethood of our Prophet(s). Such signs as the lion may well be helpful to those who feel doubts due to what they perceive as lack of evidence, because the kuffar have done a very professional job at casting doubt on the historical bases of our tradition, and many people have been deeply affected by this.

one does not object to signs comming from ALLAH , the fact is that this movie is a farce and belittles islam , the sign i got from that movie was that a beutifull lion of ALLAH is caged up in a most disgusting way that totaly goes against all islamic teaching towards animals. the sign here is that dont cage animals up maybe?

Allah swt puts signs in the world so us weak humans can remember him more. Maybe this lion is one of those signs. If even one person remembered Allah more by watching this video...then, mashAllah.

As far as complaining about the lion cage...talk about missing the boat...

Brothers juss to give u some info on this video...
This video is NOT from a Muslim country but it takes place in Baku, Russia.
Somebody noticed its unusual habits and soon Muslims found out and film recorded it.

The lion awakes at dawn and licks itself, (making wudhu-I dont know, I can't talk Lion) and then says ALLAH. If u listen carefully u can hear it say some words after it says ALLAH, most people think it is saying AHAD-ONE.
Forward to the time that says 2:40-3:15

There is more there if you think about it...clearly the camera people are Muslim as you can hear them saying ALLAHUAKBAR but notice how the lion walks straight up to the camera and says to the Muslims ALLAH!

Brothers you are right lets not get to messed up over this video cuz there are alwayz some brothers who take a miracle of Islam and make it the basis of their Muslims faith (ahem, the 19ers). This is a sign from ALLAH and I dont see how there is any legitimate argument against this.
WE CAN NOT SAY WHAT ALLAH CAN AND CAN NOT DO NOR SHOULD WE DENY OR RIDICULE A MIRACLE! NOR SHOULD WE GLORIFY IT IN EXCESS! THIS IS NOT, GOD FORBID, A REPLACEMENT FOR THE QURAN AND SUNNAH!

I fear that this may belittle Islam by having someone mess up the video, Insha ALLAH that will not happen.
THERE ARE BETTER METHODS OF DAWAAH BROTHERS AND THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
