Hmmm yeah i saw this earlier...
alhamdulilah its a great step forward

But i have to admit, even though these banks although getting better... they still have such high rates that u still cant afford to take out thier halaal mortgages... khair, Allahu aalim we mite see a nice suprise inshallah

This maybe of interest (no pun intended). Mufti Taqi Usmani was ousted as grand Mufti of Pakistan due to his unrelenting stance on riba. :insh: things are in good hands...
