Dua after 2nd khutbah

What is the hukum in the hanafi madhab for the dua at the end of the 2nd khutbah.
i noticed that many hanafi khateebs dont make this dua but do say a dua from a hadith "Allahumaghfiril abbas wa waladihi........" but if Im not mistaken the dua should be for the ummah at large.


the moulan also mentioned a few things that sounded far fetched to me but then again im Shafi'. please could you guys assist.

If one has hair that grows over the upper lip & your food or drink touches those hairs then even if you did the slaugter yourself then the food is haraam.
if you have pupic hairs or hairs under the arms which are longer than a rise grain then your salah is baatil.
(i dont remember shaving these hairs to be from the shuroots of salah.) if so shouldnt khitnah then be waajib. both removing the hair & khitnah are from the fitra so then similar rulings should go for both.

Du'a for general ummah in the 2nd khutbah is Sunnah. [i] I did not answer earlier so that I could check over the last two Jumma if any further dua is made. Alhamdulillah in both the jumma I heard the khateeb making general dua. In case some Imam leaves it out, the khutbah will still be valid.

وَأَمَّا سُنَنُهَا فَخَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ... وَالثَّالِثَ عَشَرَ زِيَادَةُ الدُّعَاءِ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ


I have not come across any of the mas'ala mentioned afterwards.

ok as long as the khutbah & my jumua is accepted in the hanafi madhab because that is the madhab of the imaam.

i would still like someone to explain the other masaa-il. they realy seem far fetched.
