The original book was written in Arabic or perhaps Urdu.

There are two English translations with specific features making one better then the other in some respects, so I thought it helpful to share what I have found reading them both and comparing.



SUMMARY
I would advise reading Waseelatus Salafiyyah translation for Chapters 1 to 3 and then to utilise Idara Tarjuman Al-Sunnah translation for the remaining content not translated by Waseelatus Salafiyyah (Chapter 4 and 5 and a small part of Chapter 1).



ENGLISH TRANSLATION BY IDARA TARJUMAN AL-SUNNAH
That is the one that I have linked to in my first post on this thread.

This is a full translation of all five chapters.

This translation was published 1985, I am not aware of any place where it can be currently purchased.
I have scanned my own copy that I purchased in 2001 and do not think this translation is available in PDF anywhere else on the internet.

This translation does though have some printing and formatting errors and line spacing issues which can make it unclear in quite a few places as to who said what.
Sometimes the words used in the English translation are a bit obscure or not the best choice. Perhaps English was not the first language of the translator (Idara Tarjuman Al-Sunnah has a Pakistani address).

Also notably there was a printing error so that
- The page numbered 188 should go after the page numbered 186
- The page numbered 199 should go after the page numbered 172
I have reordered the pages in the PDF scan I have uploaded so that they are in the correct order.



ENGLISH TRANSLATION BY WASEELATUS SALAFIYYAH
This is a more recent translation generally available on the internet, as seperate (secured) PDFs for each chapter.

It is not a full translation since it covers only the first three chapters and does not include Chapter 4 and 5 which have not been translated.
Chapter 4 - Bareilawiyyat and the Excommunication of the Muslims Declaring them unbelievers
Chapter 5 - Bareilawiyyat and its nonsense talk

Also from Chapter 1 it only has a summary for the "Works and Writings" section at the end of which it says
[Translators Note: Rest of this section is omitted now. InshaAllah this will be backfilled once the rest of the book is completed.]Overall though it is a better English translation then the Idara Tarjuman Al-Sunnah English translation, it is much clearer and easier to read.

SUMMARY

Maulana Ihsaan Ilaahi Zaheer (^Afallaahu ^Anhu) besides regarding the Barelvis as being a Firqah-tul-Baatilah, also regarded the ^Ulama of Deoband as being deviated. The reason is that he himself was from the "Ahle Hadis/Ghair Muqallideen/Salafis".

For this reason, people should be aware that not everything which is written in his books might be correct. Being Ghair Muqallid he had some wrong beliefs himself, but we ask Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta^aalaa to forgive him.

I think it would be more beneficial to read the refutation against the Barelvis (amongst others) written by Maulana Yusuf Ludhaynvi (Rahmatullahi ^Alayhi), "Ikhtilaf-e-Ummat aur Siraat-e-Mustaqeem" available in Urdu and English.

I feel all Muslim brothers and sisters will benefit greatly from reading this book, particularly those from the Indian subcontinent and perhaps especially Deobandis since as mentioned in the book on many occasions Ahmad Rida Bareilawi was a vehment and vocal anti-Deobandi.


I think it would be more beneficial to read the refutation against the Barelvis (amongst others) written by Maulana Yusuf Ludhaynvi (Rahmatullahi ^Alayhi), "Ikhtilaf-e-Ummat aur Siraat-e-Mustaqeem" available in Urdu and English.
Why not read them both eg the book on this thread for which I have provided a PDF upload that I have scanned and linked to and the one whose name you have provided.
Since I am interested in reading this as well please could you upload and provide a link.

I agree with you that people can benefit from the Kitab of Maulana Ihsaan Ilahi (Rahmatullah Alayh), what I mean is that they should keep in mind that not everything he says is in conformity with the Maslak of Ulama-e-Deoband.

But otherwise, people can read both books and benefit from both, and Inshaa'Allah Allah Ta`ala will grant them Hidaayat and the ability to avoid the Bareilwiyyah and groups with similar beliefs. Wallahu Waliyy-ut-Tawfeeq.

The author is unfair and is clearly misinterpreting the words of Ml. Raza Khan saheb. Look at the following excerpt:

"He [Ml. Raza Khan saheb] himself was not satisfied with the rank less than that of the prophets. Once he said to his followers and
novices while he was suffering from headache and fever, 'These diseases are blessed; they stuck to the prophets
(peace be upon them). Praise be to Allah; they have stuck to me as they had stuck to them." pp. 38

Didn't our Nabi SAW tell us to ponder over the the trials and tribulations of previous Nabis AS to help us develop patience when going through difficulties?
This is exactly what Ml. Raza Khan saheb is doing. He is seeing his difficulties as blessings. I don't think he is trying to elevate himself to prophet hood as the author implies.

Anyone continuing to read from the extract you have posted that is page 38 to page 40 would be able to put the conclusion from this extract into context and realise that Ahmad Rida Bareilawi did indeed have a grossly inflated opinion of himself as did his followers. For example see this extract just after that you have posted.

The Bareilawi himself has said about him: "Allah's pleasure lies with the Prophet's pleasure and the prophet's pleasure lies with the pleasure of the Bareilawi".
He further says: "The existence of the Bareilawi is a sign from the exact signs of Allah."
Disgracing the companions of the Prophet (may peace be upon him) one of his followers said: "Our paying visit to the Bareilawi has lessened our eagerness to visit the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)".

I would welcome anyone to read the whole book (rather then one small extract) with its frequent references to the works of Ahmad Rida Bareilawi himself and his key followers and form an overall opinion of the fairness of Ehsan Elahi Zaheers interpretation of what Ahmad Rida Bareilawi stood for and believed.
