Assalamu alaykum

I know if you have pets you gotta look after them and feed them etc. but ours have had kittens and we have like 6 cats now, ive tried looking after them for about a year now. but its setting asthma off really bad as well as my dust mite allergy. They are indoor cats. only really wanted two.

can i let the adult cats go free outside? or is that haraam? none of the cat rescue places are taking the cats in and no one i know wants them.

Jazakallah

There is nothing wrong with setting the cats free, provided it is not against Animal rights and you would not be putting yourself in a problematic position.

Please do not post animate pictures here.
