Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatULLAHI wa barakatuHU,
I read this on one webpage and I wondered as to its veracity:
"In Islam, the high hair styles are prohibited, the ones that resemble "camel's kohaan". A high pony tail (not too extra high, of course) or hair tied up in a catcher do not fall under this category because they are a little more than normal. The practical example of a camel like hairstyle can be seen in Arab countries where women make TOO HIGH hair styles under scarves (in fact they were some extendable things, clips etc whose name I do not know) that make their hair height extra high. If you wear a normal high tail, wrapping a scarf wont make it look too bad. Moreover, a high bun is also prohibited but only in Salat. "
Is this true?
JazakumULLAH Khair,
Wassalam ma'al-ikram
