:salam: if you brush your teeth before fajr the tatste will still be there after fajr, even if you rinse your mouth. does it invalidate your fast if you swallow yur salive that has a little taste.

Assalam o Alaikum
If the taste of the miswaak overpowers the saliva of the mouth then you will have to spit it out. If it is not done so then the fast will break. (fatawa hindiya vol.1pg.131)

Also see,
10. After eating some betel-leaves, the person washed and gargled his mouth thoroughly. Despite this, the redness of the saliva did not disappear. There is no harm in this. The fast will still be valid. (Sharh Tanvir vol 2. pg. 157)

I have to brush my teeth with toothpaste when i wake up after seri, i cant speak or breathe or anything if i dnt. my mouth is just all sleepy n nasty. i dnt feel awake if i dnt brush my teeth with toothpaste, i understand that it is makrooh, and am very careful not to swallow any of it. i do try n use the miswak but it just dnt giv my mouth that minty burst of freshness astagfirullah.

I dont think anyone likes the taste in their mouths after waking up....most people have a habit of brushing teeth after getting up...like myslef.......i HAVE to brush and then only do i eat or speak. Anyhow, in Ramadhan, i do not brush. There is a hadeeth that states that the smell from your mouth whilst fasting is more dearer to Allah SWT than any fragrance. Hope this helps someone. :)
