  1. Mit Mit Kay Mit Ja - Faqr and Faqeer

To continue on the first line of the poem we now have reached the term "faqeer". We find faqeer to be translated as beggar and because we are worldly people we assume this is about bank balance and finances. Allah swt forgive our immaturity and lack of knowledge, ameen. It actually goes a lot deeper than our checkbooks.

Just to give an overview this is where faqr comes in on the path to becoming an abdullah in word and deed:

To become an abdullah one first ...

  2. Mit Mit Kay Mit Ja - Murshid e Kaamil Has No Greed

To continue with the previous post, another distinguishing trait of a murshid kaamil is that he has no greed. I have visited many threads on this forum and was saddened to read the views people have, even those who are students in tasawwuf, of a murshid. It is sad to see the level of contempt they hold a shaikh in. They have learned a lot of this and that but have failed to learn the primary criteria of a murshid. A murshid has no greed in him. Teach me the lesson given by the murshid, O faqeer, annihilate, just annihilate yourself

Do not assume this annihilation as THE annihilation, rather annihilate

  5. The Square Peg and the Round Circle

Lets say there is a square peg and it wants to get into a round circle. It sees this circle and thinks that sitting in this circle is the best place it can be in, the best situation for itself. You look at this square peg and you look at the round circle and you know that there is no chance this square peg is gonna get into that round circle - at least not without cutting some of itself off. And you know that the amount from the peg you would have to cut off could be a significant portion of it, ...
