‘O Forgetful Mu’min!’

Rate this Entry
To you we may be just foolish women with no intelligence,
Not capable of knowledge or even a little common sense;

But in the Qur’an, our Beloved Creator did not forget us,
And most certainly did our beloved Prophet elevate us.
Our pious predecessors upheld the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah,
Accordingly they respected us and they encouraged us.

As a mercy from your Lord we were gifted to you,
But O Man, overlook our rights you most certainly do.
You abandoned the Sunnah of the Prophet;
you rejected us and humiliated us,
Yet love and adoration you expect from us?

Keeping in mind the eternal Pleasure of Allah,
Insha’ Allah we’ll continue the duty of fulfilling your rights over us;
But don’t forget, O forgetful servant of Allah,
You will be questioned on the Day when out Lord will indeed resurrect us.

    Why do you think crying is a bid'at?

    Firoz. Dont you remember when Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam son was in his lap taking his last breaths and Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam was there holding onto his innocent beloved son in his lap watching him take his last breaths and he began to cry? But he said, O son we are sad at your departure but we will only say that which is pleasing to Allah swt. Then Sahaba ra asked O Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam my parents be sacrificed for you, but why did you cry at the departure of your son from this world? Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam responded, this is mercy.

    Crying is ghair ikhtiyari in its nature, meaning its not in ones control. Hakeem ul Ummat once joked about this saying that he thinks that women have somehow managed to take crying into their control lol to bring on the showers whenever they need something lol. But its ghair ikhtiyari firoz, think about that.

    Crying wont be considered bidat but the actions that follow will be measured to see if they are bidat or straight out haraam.
