Da'wah or Derision

Assalaamu 'alaykum waramatullaah!

The title is "Da'wah or Derision"...let each one of us be our own judge!

We once again witness the threads on the moonsighting issue.....many of us with heavy hearts due to to the nature of the posts where Scholars and followers of the opposite side are openly ridiculed and even patronised. Its one thing to give da'wah due to concern and quite another to ridicule a person or group....especially Scholars.

My dear brothers & sisters, whichever Scholar or group we "follow" (in any matter) we are all one, like a family where if one hurts, we should all be hurting, where if we respected each other, hearts would join with love for each other and where if we united despite these differences, we would be a force to be reckoned with...united we win, divided we fall! This kind of derisive atitude would surely be contemptible even if it be towards non-Muslims?

May Allah subhaanahu wata'ala unite our hearts in the true sense, aameen.

    Funny how no one says anythin when the hizb ul ulema use bad language towards wifaq yet as soon as wifaq show the hizbul ulema the inconsistencies and downright deception, posts and blogs like these appear.

    I think the posters showing the wifaq side are showing alot of restraint. you have any idea the type of language hizbul ulema use towards wifaq and their supporters?

    the sentiment is valid in your blog,that we agree on.

    Respected brother enigma, assalaamu 'alaykum
    I'm glad to see that we at least agree on the sentiments, alhamdulillah as this is the whole purpose and I therfore feel the first two parts of your comment are unnecessary. I do not wish to turn this into another thread. Jazaakallah.

    Hizb has done a lot of good work but now it is irrlevent. Its time has passed. I remember one member of wifaq was punched last year when he tried to speak on the subject by the hizb supporter. This reminds me of MPAC being threatend with violence few years ago in a documentry. I wonder if this is what these well wisher have resorted to - foul mouth rambling dim witted. A far cry from adab of the past.
