This is the very first public blog post here on sunniforum.com. This is a new feature of sunniforum.com that will allow certain users to 'blog'. Merriam-Webster defines a blog as:
Main Entry: blog
Pronunciation: \ˈblȯg, ˈbläg\
Function: noun
Etymology: short for Weblog
Date: 1999
: a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer; also : the contents of such a site
— blog·ger noun
— blog·ging noun
We realise that blogging is a delicate issue and can be used in an improper fashion. However, used effectively and within guidelines, it can be an effective method to relay thoughts and concepts.
Currently, sunniforum.com has decided that the ability to blog will only be given to particular members, initially starting with staff members. This is to prevent abuse of the system, and prevent blogging on sunniforum.com to become a source of fitnah and/or exposing the private lives of individuals. It will also allow us to trial the system before we consider adding more 'bloggers' to the system.what you can expect, however, is blog posts from some of the 'Ulama on sunniforum.com as well as other knowledgable members.
Please do not ask us to allow you to blog. We cannot reply to every individual request and give reasons as to why you haven't been allowed to blog. If we feel the sunniforum.com blogging system would benefit from your posts, we will contact you,. Just remember to keep your profiles updated with valid email addresses.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please do not hesitate to leave a comment or get in touch with the sunniforum.com staff by clicking on "Contact Us."
Request for Duas.
