Tasawwuf is “Niyyato ko thik karnaa” (To make intentions correct). He adds, “Niyyat bhi ek bohot barhaa ‘amal hein” i.e. Intention is also a great deed which Hajji Faaruq sahib called “Roohul ‘amal” (Soul of the deed) and Mawalana Rumi called “Sayyidil ‘amal” yet we do not regard intentions as a deed which brings reward.
Shaykh also says:
“In order for any action to be accepted by Allāh ta’ala it must fulfil two conditions:
1.The action must be in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wasallam.
2.There must be sincerity in the action, i.e. it must be done for the pleasure of Allāh ta’ala."
