Giving Time to Quran

Rate this Entry
My ustaz said that the Holy Quran requires time, it demands time and the more time we give to it the more of it we can memorize, the more of its anwaar and barakaat enter our lives.

We think that we don't have time to dedicate to the Quran, "What can I do? If I had more free time I would give it to the Quran." We need to realize this is not correct thinking and we need to change this attitude.

The difference between us and the People of the Quran is that they think the opposite, they think more like, "If I could get free from the Quran then I would give that time to something else, but what can I do? I have no free time from reciting the Holy Quran."

Just as technology has taken over our lives we should accept it. Instead of being busy with email and facebook we need to listen to Quran on our ipods and such. If we are trying to memorize surahs they are great devices that can repeat them over and over for us so that we may memorize. And my favorite is when we are in the car, instead of listening to music we could listen to surahs or lectures.
